Katie started riding before she could walk and since then horses have always played a major role in her life. She has competed successfully all across the southeast and became a part of the UGA Equestrian Team in 2010. Stephanie and Katie started their relationship when Katie was just starting high school and wanted to pursue her career in the equitation and jumper ring. They maintained their relationship through college and developed the idea of Pecan Lane Farm in the summer of 2015.
